Betty has been a church pianist for 63 years. Her health is getting to the point where she will be retiring tomorrow. This is the card I made for her. It took a lot longer to finish but I am very happy with the result. The Grand Piano is from Mardenz and the notes are in SCAL 2's library. The pop up piano is a Jennie-Bean. The Music stand I took from a photo. After tweaking it best a could I'm pretty happy with it. I scanned music from an very old hymnal.

Tennis Anyone?
Well 4 of my nieces and nephew are big into tennis. Two of them are still in school and on their tennis teams. Kent is in Jr. High and this is the present he is getting from us this year. It is to hang his tennis pins, ribbons and maybe some pictures onto.
I cut 8 1/2 inch squares from chipboard and paper using the basic shapes in SCAL 2. In Design Studio I welded boxes to the sides of tennis rackets, and the tennis ball border from Sport's Mania.
I then welded boxes and words (Brownstown Tennis) in SCAL 2 and got cutting. I scored along the edges of connecting pieces and glue everything together.
I cut rounded boxes from SCAL 2 along with several basic shapes and arrows and some sayings and backgrounds from Sport's Mania.
It is really long and I'm not sure how I will wrap it, but I'm super tickled with how it came out!

Harvest Card
Here is a harvest card I made for our dear friend, Poppy. It's that time of year in our part of the universe. I used the Harvest Bear set again for my Oliver Tractor and the Words and a few of the leaves. The set came from My Scrap Chick.
The other leaves are from the SVG Cuts September Stand Up Scene Cards.
The corn in the background is from Scrappin' Tables Fall Theme Set.

Father's Day Card for Father in law
Here is the card I made for DH's Dad. He just spent 3 1/2 weeks on the road between his three boys. Started off at our house for DD's graduation and then went to #3 sons for a week and then to #2 sons for a week and back here for a week and DS's wedding. I bet he was so glad to sleep in his own bed. The bowling file is from Annel. The font is Lyical Letters.

A Little Scrappin'
I actually got a few scrapbook pages done this weekend. It felt so good. I think I got aobut 8 or 9 pages done this week. The house is put back together after dealing with the mold. Yeah. The 2 pages I'm showing you are from the Spring Musical at the HS. In the first page I made my own SVG's.The Stage border is a SCUT file and can be downloaded here. It is for SCAL 2 and is a very rough cut. Needs a little tweaking. Sorry I don't have the time to tweak it. The Bye Bye Birdie SVG is here. The 2nd page I used Sunny Day font from the Sesame Street Cart and the Retro Phone is From the Kitchen.
Hope you are having a great Sunday.

Baby Card
Here is a baby card for a surprise Grandparent party. I don't get to go because my daughter made her boyfriend a special Valentine dinner and I'm chaparoning. After helping her all day, I'm pretty bushed anyway. I liked how this came out. The picture really didn't do it justice. I used SU Linen Background stamp with Ballet Blue. The Baby mess is from Notes from a Scrapbook lady (her blog is gone - hysterically sobbing), The brand spanking new is from Graphically Speaking cart.
More Valentines
Here are a few more of my Valentine's
The owl is from Wild Card. The Who luvs you as well as the frog is from Just Yolie. The ribbit is from the Animal Kingdom. The inside of the card says I toadily love you! Also from Yolie. The last picture is the treat bags for my WeeKids on Wednesday night. You really can't see it but there are little cut out hearts on the bag toppers.

SuperBowl Party
We are having the High School Youth Group at our house for a Super Bowl Party. I made this decorations for the top of the TV today. I used the football helmets from Sport's Mania Cart and then a dear gal in my SCAL, Annel group made up the Logos and names. I just plopped them on it. Looks pretty good I think. Denise just posted a SuperBowl Logo on her site. I've got finger jello to make, other food to cook and the house to get picked up. Hopefully I'll have time for a few more decorations too.
Update: - I never had time to make anymore decorations, but the party was a hit. 17 High School kids, 4 adults, 3 children, 1 dog and 1 cat squeezed into my Living Room Sunday. We had a ball. Lots of games, giggles and general silliness ensued. Needless to say I have some great scrapbook material.
Cards
Here is a card that I made for my sister-in law for her birthday tomorrow. I used new digital stamp from Elizabeth Bell. Isn't she adorable. That background is one of Monica's.
The 2nd card is one of the Valentine's for a nephew. The Coon Bandit is from the Animal Kingdom Cart. The font and the heart are from Wild Card. The saying is from Bethany at Elegant Word Art 2.

A Dance, Snow and a Free SVG

Been scrapbooking again today. Almost 1/2 way thru DD's Freshman year! Woot!
The first page is her first Homecoming Dance and her brother's last one. The background of the pictures is a label from Jen the Crazy Scrapbooker. The girls are from Brittney's SVGs. I already forgot which font I used for Homecoming Dance. LOL
The 2nd page is from December 1st 2006. We got 18 inches of snow & of course my dear husband was out of town. Our drive seemed so long that year. The background of the 2 small pictures is from a make & take a LOOOOONG time ago at a Stampin Up party by my wonderful demonstrator Barb Fehr. The words are Pooh Font Marker Shadow. I needed a shovel to finish off my page so I'd thought I would share with ya'll. Click here.

Title Page
Here is one of the pages I did today. It is the title page for Summer 2006. It is a scrapbook with 4 or 5 summers in it.
I used Everyday Paper Dolls, a palm tree from Cecil Badlands, title is from SVG Cuts. The frame is made from the shapes library in SCAL 2. Thought bubbles I believe. I've been doing summer title pages all day. A good thing to do when it's only 15 degrees outside.

Graduation Invitation

So My dear daughter will be graduating this spring provided she passes the state constitution test tomorrow. LOL
Anyway I was really inspired when I did her brother's invites in 2007 and she wanted something just as "spectacular" for hers. Since Christmas I have been struggling with what to do for her invites. Nothing was ringing mine or her bell. Anyway amazing Penny Duncan posted a couple of cut files today on her website. Thank you Penny!!!!!! And I was finally inspired! The Poem is leftover from my son's, but DD wanted it too. The other cuts are from SVG Cuts Graduation cards.

New updates for Sure-Cuts-A-Lot! Yippee! I haven't tried them all yet. I played around but having cut anything using yet. Sure could have used the Auto fill a little while ago, but so glad it's here before I do Wedding and Graduation Invitations!! The points are copied from Heather M's Blog where I got the heads up. Hit the SCAL Badge on the right of my blog to get to Craft Edge's website.
- Break Apart. This works for both fonts and svg files.
- Alignment tools added, both horizontal and vertical.
- Autofill through the Copy/Paste menu.
- New view option. You can choose to see just the outlines, or you can have the outlines with a semi-transparent fill.
- Selection has been improved. You can now select images that are within the bounding box of a larger image.

Pastor Appreciation Gift
Here is the gift and Card that I made for our Senior Saints Minister for Pastor Appreciation Month from our Small Group. He and his wife are the loveliest folks and it's been a rough year for them. He is in the hospital with cancer and not doing very well. The flowers and the pumpkin idea came from the awesome folks at SVG Cuts. If you order $9.98 worth of stuff by Tuesday the 13th you can get the Fall Mum Flower cuts for free. The Card template came from the gals over at Christmas with Cricut. If you haven't been following their blog, get over there and catch up. They have come up with some really amazing ideas. I've had so much fun checking that blog out every morning. The card came from Week 7, the snowman card. I've got go make the tea and lemonade for small group tonight.
