Snow Fall
We have a side entrance hall where everyone comes into our home. Unfortunately everytime someone opens the door from the garage pictures far off the wall so I decided to bling up my hall with some snowflakes. Most of the Snowflakes are Penny Duncan's lovely work, a few of SVG Cuts and the rest from my cart When It's Cold Outside.

Christmas vinyl
Last December DCWV & Hobby Lobby came out with Holiday vinyl in a tube. It was rather expensive from $19.99 to 29.99 I think. Anyway in January I got a "Peaceful silent night on clearance for 3 or 4 dollars. The picture made it look pretty big and the regular price had been $24.99 I threw it in a Christmas tote and pretty much forgot about it. Since then I've discover how easy vinyl is to work with and found a great supplier in Expression Vinyl. When I pulled out decoration, I was stunned to see how dinky purchased vinyl saying was. So I added my own gold star using the start my Mamaw's Legacy Shepherd's card and the manger silhouette from Scrapping Table's Christmas set. I think it really looks good and have downloaded some great looking svgs this week I'm itching to try with vinyl. I got a few empty wall space that needs a little holiday dressing.

The vinyl in my Daughter's Room
Here is the vinyl that I put up last night in my daughter's bedroom. I'll be gone for the next couple of days as I head to the Mayo Clinic for my Lupus Check up. I've got some stuff to color in the card for Christmas cards and I'll have my laptop to work on some vinyl layouts and cards while I'm up there. (Between Tests)

Speak Friend and Enter
I've been wanting to do this for a little while and finally got it done.
This is Ancient Elvish from the Lord of the Rings.
If you are not familiar with it, 1) are you crazy & 2) the Fellowship of the Ring is trying to get the door open to a Dwarf city. Gandalf the wizard thinks it is a riddle and is trying to figure it out. Speak friend and enter. He is trying to guess all kinds of possible passwords. Frodo the Hobbit asks him what the word for Friend is in Elvish and when he replies the door opens.
This is what folks will see when the walk into our side door (the one everyone comes to) & I'm hoping to hear friend spoken quite a bit. My 20 year old son has a group of friends over today and they think it is wicked cool. :)
