Another Get Well Card

This another Get Well Card I made for my Dad. I used Lora's of Notes from a Scrapbooklady SVG file. I copied the back layer and flipped it and then welded it to the other copy of the layer to make a card. I think it is an older file from her first blog. I think the card came out good. The nurses at the hosptial all loved it.

Hello Again

I realize it's been a while since I've posted. Life has been very crazy this fall in my household. DH & I just finished the fall yard clean up except for the never ending job of mulching leaves. LOL

One of the major things last month was my Dad having open heart surgery to fix a valve.
I gave him a card for each day at the hospital. Unfortunately he stayed 1 more day than I made cards!

Here are a couple of the cards I made

The first Card I used a files from Mardenz for the Tin Man. I used my Circut Markers to outline and then cut it out. I never could my the face like I wanted so I just printed off a picture of the Movie's Tin Man. I just cut leftover metallic Yellow paper for the bricks.

I used the SVG file from Vicki at BGlad Papercrafts for this card. I also used the the Amazing Duo stamp set from Greeting Farm.

My Dad is doing great and still recovering at home.

Been AWOL

from my blog. Sorry! I have been working on stuff, but haven't gotten much of anything up. Some of it I can't cause they are surprises. I thought I would share this card I made for a friend's son. He also happens to be a friend of DD. He broke his hand at college is gonna have surgery on Monday. Rotten time in the school year for all of it. I just straight up used the Just Because cart. It was easy peasy to do! The paper is all scraps from my friend's scrap pile!

Get Whale soon

My Mother is having shoulder replacement surgery on Tuesday. I can't be there so we met them in Peoria today for lunch. I made this card for her. I used a leftover card base from my daughter's graduation invites. I used Just Because cart for the boat, whale and words. The waves are from Zooballoo. The other fish are from some 8 1/2 X 11 paper someone gave me.

This digital stamp is from Simply Inger. She has some wonderful ideas. The last card is also a piece of clipart from Print Shop. Love this dog.
