If You Give a Pre-K

The Pre-K class went to a restaurant after reading the If you Give a Pig a Pancake book for pancakes. I was asked to help with the Thank You card for the restaurant owner. This is what we came up with. It's a merge of the cricut and Print Shop. The letters on the Front are Mickey Mouse.

College Countdown

I've been working on a special surprise for my daughter. It is a Thanksgiving to Christmas Break Countdown. Each box has a little treat in it for her. This year there is 12 days from the end of Thanksgiving Break to the start of Christmas Break. I used pyramid boxes #1
from Monica Bjork. The stand came from Hobby Lobby at 50% off!
The paper is a variety of Christmas paper I had been hoarding.
I added a few bells to the extra hooks for some Christmas spirit.
I added 2 more holes with my Big Bite to string the ribbon through the pyramid.

Add my Goodies. Among the goodies are, Kit Kat, Mint Truffle Kisses, Candy Cane Kisses, Peppermint Gum, Tic Tacs, Cinnamon Hot Chocolate, Peppermint Sticks, Raspberry Hot Chocolate and Breath Savers.
Strung my Ribbon through and tied it. Added the Number Tags and tied it again. Looped on end which I left long and tied it to make a hanger. Trimmed the edges and Hung it up.

I'm hoping the boxes will last and I can make this a yearly tradition for her while she is in college. I am tickled with how it turn out.

Happy Thanksigiving

Sorry it's been a while. I've been sick, sick, sick. I sort of just sat in a daze for about a week. I'm finally starting to feel somewhat normal. LOL Here are some of the Thanksgiving decorations I made. I used the kit from My Scrap Chick. Love that site. They still have 65% off sale on orders over $25. I've been sewing Christmas stockings for baby presents and I finished my Christmas cards this week. They are ready to pop in the mail the first week of December. I've got some swaps to finish and a surprise for my daughter to finish before she gets home for Thanksgiving break. I went ahead put out our outside Christmas decorations cause the forecast looks very nasty and cold after Monday. It's much easier to get them out in semi nice temps! Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

from my blog. Sorry! I have been working on stuff, but haven't gotten much of anything up. Some of it I can't cause they are surprises. I thought I would share this card I made for a friend's son. He also happens to be a friend of DD. He broke his hand at college is gonna have surgery on Monday. Rotten time in the school year for all of it. I just straight up used the Just Because cart. It was easy peasy to do! The paper is all scraps from my friend's scrap pile!
