Mustang Wedding

Here is the very unusual Wedding card that I have been working on for the past couple of weeks. Mostly ideas have been rolling around in my head.
It had to have a Mustang on it.

Good Friend Shelly found this great cut on Cricut Creations by Amkscrap. I cut several to make it layered with the Floral Wire inside of it. I tried to hide the floral wire under the paper. :( It didn't co-operate. Once again I found great use of this road SVG from Mommy Mel's Addiction. The Light Green Trees are from Einnej. They are a wedding invitation pocket but I cut off the side and bottom.
The darker front trees are from Cecil Badlands who no longer has a site. Sorry. I used paper and bits from an paper pack from American Tradition Designs called Road Trip and SEI's En Route.

When you pull the tab on the right the car pulls out and strings with "pop cans" (made from real pop cans appear behind the card. There is also a Bride and Groom in the car. I made them eons ago from a clip-art.

For the envelope I have to used 4 12 x 12 pages. Silly me made the card 12 inches wide. I added a scalloped edge from Stacked Scallops - My Scrap Chick.

I hope they like it!

Quickie Card

So I had a belated wedding shower this morning and needed a quickie card. So I used the cake couple from the Wild Card Cart and then cut 3 layers from one of Penny Duncan's Nesties. I ran the top one through my Sizzix Texture Boutique with my hearts folder. I sprayed it with some shimmer mist. While it dried, I ran and got dressed. Popped it on a DCWV Cards and added a few hearts. Whew!

Wedding Card

This is the card I made for my son and my new daughter-in-law. The outisde is a file from Monica's Gate Card 5 I believe and the inside is from Heather M's blog. I used 3 kinds of Stickles, Diamon, Icicle and Silver. The stamp is from Michael's $1 bin. I love how it came out. It was beautiful. I'm itching to see some of the pictures from the wedding.

Napkin Rings

I started on the napkins rings this morning. I just finished them a little before 9 p.m. It seemed to take forever. However I also did all of my laundry, my son's, Adams and Grandpa's. The last load is in the washer. It was a beautiful day so I've had the windows open. It kinda hot tonight now the breeze has disappeared. Just not ready to turn on the air. Yesterday my dear friend Hollie made my Calla Lillys and I got the Clematis flowers made for the centerpieces on the tables.

Tomorrow I'm gonna set up the room for the reheasal dinner so hopefully I can relax as more of the out of town company starts pouring into town.

The napkins rings are left over paper from the boxes I made for the reception and the wedding invitations. I used Tie the Knot cartridge. The top is cut from Korean mulberry paper. I made 70 of them. The bands are 1 x 4 dark purple card stock with 3/4 inch by 4 mulberry paper.

Yeah! Happy Dance! I found purple tableclothes last night. They only had 6 of the round ones at Hobby Lobby, but yeah again my daughter in law in 3 days found 2 more at a different Hobby Lobby today.

More Wedding Stuff

So I've been sitting in my chair being good and finished weeding the the Name Plates for the Rehearsal Dinner. I used Wanda's daisy eyelet card, but I took of the eyelet holes. They wouldn't cut on the mulberry paper. I used my new CriKit pens to write the names. The font I used was Disciple. I made I think 64 of them.

Wedding Favors

My Son's wedding is this Saturday. I have been working feverishly on stuff for the Reception and Rehearsal Dinner. Here is what I have done so far. The first picture is of a box to put advice into at the reception. The box SVG came from My Scrap Chick. The next pictures are the favors for the rehearsal dinner. The cuts are from Denise's Scrapbooking. They are filled with Bliss chocolates and Lifesaver mints. I've almost got the place cards done. I've been slowed done a bit by a tore leg muscle. Really bad timing for it.

Little Brides

Yesterday I managed to get 131 brides dressed and got them their bouquets. The day before I got the vellum inserts ran off for the inside of the Wedding Invitations. Yeah!
I've got 28 card bases cut for DD's graduation cards. Making a little progress and it feels good.
Oh and the brides came from SVG Cuts!

Amanda's Getting Married!!

One of my scrapping friends got married today. I have be dying to put this on my blog but didn't want her, her Mom, her Grandmother or her new sister-in-law to see this before today. (Yep we all scrap together) The card is my take of a template on the Custom Crops site for Design Studio with Wild Card. The bride is a freebie from SVG cuts. I love that I found an grown up fireman fabric for Dustin's stocking.
