Fun Day in the Art Room

Yesterday I spent most of the day in my room and got quite a few cards made.
All of the cards drew from colored and cut out box.
So some of the things are my stamps and some like the birds
above I must have stamped at a friend's house.

I used my new stamp set from Close to my Heart.
I'm not sure of the name, but it is an encouragement set.

I really like it because it has 2 stamps one for the outside and one for the inside.
Ex. Above - Just a note to brighten your day
Inside- and chase all those clouds away.

This card is my version of one they made at Art Club.
I just stamped my image twice and them punched them out with my Stamp punch.
I hope you enjoyed looking at my cards and I hope the inspire you.
Two of the stamps are digis by Elizabeth Bell and one is a Greeting Farm digi.

Hello Again

I realize it's been a while since I've posted. Life has been very crazy this fall in my household. DH & I just finished the fall yard clean up except for the never ending job of mulching leaves. LOL

One of the major things last month was my Dad having open heart surgery to fix a valve.
I gave him a card for each day at the hospital. Unfortunately he stayed 1 more day than I made cards!

Here are a couple of the cards I made
The first Card I used a files from Mardenz for the Tin Man. I used my Circut Markers to outline and then cut it out. I never could my the face like I wanted so I just printed off a picture of the Movie's Tin Man. I just cut leftover metallic Yellow paper for the bricks.

I used the SVG file from Vicki at BGlad Papercrafts for this card. I also used the the Amazing Duo stamp set from Greeting Farm.

My Dad is doing great and still recovering at home.

Christmas Present for Tiffany

So this is for another niece, Tiffany. I used Penny Duncans Fancy Edge Books, some of her Shaplies, some frames from SVG Cuts and from Free SVGs. There are also some Greeting Farm and Bells and Whistles mixed in for good measure. Also included by not shown is a 8 1/2 x 11 vellum sheet full of quotes from my niece and her friends that I got from her Facebook Wall. The paper is an old DCWV Summer pack. I used my friend's Zutter Bind it All to put it together. I used lots of old posterboard with songs for Jr. Church. Leftovers from back in the day when we didn't have DVDs, Powerpoint or even access to a copy machine. LOL

UnBirthday

So my daughter-in-law is having a Surprise UnBirthday Party for my son tomorrow. His birthday once again falls on Thanksgiving. The kids was 3 1/2 weeks late so I don't feel too sorry for him. I thought he would never be born. LOL Anyway I knew I had to use some of my Wonderland Digi Stamps. Alice is from The Greeting Farm and the Forest, Mad Hatter and March Hare are Dustin Pike. The cake is just some clipart. The pop-cup table/cake is from Linda Davis. The back?front of the card says This card is reproduced with permission of Wonderland. Any silliness, bizarre and mad behavior of the bearer may send the recipient back to Wonderland.

Happy World Card Making Day!

I however will be way too busy to make cards today. It always seems to be that way. However I did get a lot made last week. Here is the birthday card for my niece who will be turning 19 in a couple of week. No it's not the 10th. I had to fix that before I sent it. I'm always a day off on her birthday. ACK!

Anyhoo, I used another leftover card base from graduation. The "girls" are all Greeting Farm girls. The Music notes are from Hannah Montana cart.

Hope you enjoy your day!

New Greeting Farm Stamps

The Greeting Farm put several stamps in their clearance section and I snapped them up. The first one also has little fire engines from Everyday Paperdolls. I welded them together in Design studio. The 2nd one has a flourish I cut at my Mother's last week. It was either, Home Accents or Home Decor I think. 80! I did 15 quarts of corn for the freezer today and picked my first tomoato from the garden. It's still hot. at 10 p.m. the heat index is still 93.

18th Birthday Cards

So I worked on Birthday cards today at club. The first card of my daughter's friend Dane. He is one of my kids and has spent almost as much time at my house as my kids. I used the digital stamp set from The Greeting Farm. I cut the 18's from the Cuttin' Up cart. I used my new Cuttlebug folder of Circles and Bubbles and the argyle folder my friend got the same day.

The 2nd card is for my Daughter's boyfriend. His birthday is Saturday & their "1st" anniversary is tomorrow. I used a Stampin Up set. Sorry I don't know the name. I stamped and colored these like 8 months ago. All the other bits are leftovers. I used a border Cuttlebug folder in 2 places.

Gonna jump in the shower and head to bed. Road the bike 4 miles at the canal tonight since DD & I slept through the alarms this morning. Gonna get up and do it again in the morning.

Here Comes the Sun

Here comes the sun. Yippe! That's the focus of the 3rd card. Since we had about 5 inches of snow over the weekend the sun was a star of Sunday as it started melting the snow. This is just black and white clipart I have on a disk a bonus from Print Shop Ensemble III. Card #1 is again the 50's couple from Greeting Farm and Card #2 is some clipcart from Print Shop.

Hoping for Spring.

Here's another couple of spring looking cards. It was beautiful here yesterday. Stood outside all afternoon and talked to the neighbors. It was wonderful. Got up this morning to snow. Hopfully it will be winters last hurrah. Both cards have Greeting Farm Stamps. The top one I used Hope & Grace set and the words from the Amazing Duo set. The paper is a 6x6 pack from Stampin up that I got as a gift. The bottom card is the Rain Rain Digital Stamp. I used one of Wanda's cut files for the folding.

More Greeting Farm Fun!

All the stamps are from the Greeting Farm. It's been nice to using the stuff I colored but I need to refocus on my daughter's scrapbook and graduation invites. I've got a retreat coming up and need to get pictures and paper ready for it.
