The big snowmen are from My Scrap Chick's Snowmen Collection. The name plates snowmen are from their Whimsical Winter set!. Had a blast with my side of the family and looking forward to my husband's side coming in tomorrow. It's snowing big time here. about 4 inches so far. Merry Christmas everyone!

Tennis Anyone?

Well 4 of my nieces and nephew are big into tennis. Two of them are still in school and on their tennis teams. Kent is in Jr. High and this is the present he is getting from us this year. It is to hang his tennis pins, ribbons and maybe some pictures onto.

I cut 8 1/2 inch squares from chipboard and paper using the basic shapes in SCAL 2. In Design Studio I welded boxes to the sides of tennis rackets, and the tennis ball border from Sport's Mania.
I then welded boxes and words (Brownstown Tennis) in SCAL 2 and got cutting. I scored along the edges of connecting pieces and glue everything together.

I cut rounded boxes from SCAL 2 along with several basic shapes and arrows and some sayings and backgrounds from Sport's Mania.

It is really long and I'm not sure how I will wrap it, but I'm super tickled with how it came out!

Getting ready for Christmas

I've been busy working on stuff for Christmas. Mostly presents. But I have been working on the dinner table decorations. Here is a peek. The Snowmen are from My ScrapChick. The place setting is just the rounded square in SCAL 2 folded in half. Don't you love the huge snowman! 11 inches tall! I have another one ready to cut out! I'm loving it. I used my Cri-Kit Pens to draw the names and snowflakes. I used up a whole black glaze pen filling in the names but it was so worth the effect.

Christmas Present for Tiffany

So this is for another niece, Tiffany. I used Penny Duncans Fancy Edge Books, some of her Shaplies, some frames from SVG Cuts and from Free SVGs. There are also some Greeting Farm and Bells and Whistles mixed in for good measure. Also included by not shown is a 8 1/2 x 11 vellum sheet full of quotes from my niece and her friends that I got from her Facebook Wall. The paper is an old DCWV Summer pack. I used my friend's Zutter Bind it All to put it together. I used lots of old posterboard with songs for Jr. Church. Leftovers from back in the day when we didn't have DVDs, Powerpoint or even access to a copy machine. LOL

Christmas Card 2010

Here is my Christmas card 2010. I bought the file from Mamaw's Legacy last Christmas. Good thing I did since she closed up shop. I used Night of Navy for the background, the City of Jerusalem was Crumb Cake (Also Stampin' Up). I embossing the city with my Tim Holtz Brick folder and inked it with Creamy Caramel Ink. The gold behind the stars are a gold paper from Walmart that shared by a good friend. The envelope I used one of my test cuts and sponged around it with Not Quite Navy. The inside of the card

Out of Glory, Out of a Promise Out of our God's own heart;
Sent from heaven to live among us,the beautiful Morning Star.
For unto us a Son, a Savior: His name is Wonderful Counselor!
He is the Mighty God Prince of Peace, and our Savior forever.
Christmas Greetings from the Crimingers.

Christmas Vinyl

I made these two car window vinyls for my sisters-in-laws for Christmas. I doubt that it will be warm enough for a while though for them to put them on their cars. The people are from SVG Cuts and the font is Ketcup.

Wasn't me!

See my mouth is empty!
The dog must have eaten your crackers!

Christmas Card for Lizzie

I sent off a couple of card to my Lizzie for her last week of school before the holiday. The first card started at the beginning of my Cricut experience. I cut these cute penguins from Zooballoo eons ago. I just never quite like anything I put them on. I'm glad I waited to use them cause I love this card. The ho, ho, ho is from Christmas Cheer. On the inside it says It's Christmas, Happy, Happy Christmas which from the classic vinyl Sleigh Ride, Jingle Bell album I had as a child. The songs are corny but very addictive!

The 2nd card I sent I used a cut file from Einnej. The Merry Christmas is an old Mamaw's Legacy file. Sadly the file isn't available anymore. I hope Lizzie gets the cards before she heads home this weekend and hopefully she will come home on a day when she doesn't have to dodge snowflakes or deer!

More Swap Stuff

This is the bag I did for Diann. I couldn't find a plain brown paper gift bag. They were always sold out. LOL I used vinyl for the cut file and the name I have on the file is Brandon W. I'm sorry I don't remember who you are. :(

I used the cut file from SVG Cuts for my Tag. I love the paper. I think it was SEI? I added stickles for some bling and a little ribbon.
