Sympathy Card

This is a sympathy card a made for one the dearests families I know. My dear friend, Joyce, passed away last month. She leaves a huge hole in our lives. I used Tania Baking stamp from Belles 'n Whistles. Joyce was an amazing cook, baker, quilter, sewer, musician, etc. One of her many ministries was the treats on Wednesday night for youth. The Pre-school children called her Cookie Joyce Grandma. I cut squars for the background and pasted them on to look like a quilt. On the Yellow squares I quilted memories of Joyce for the "stitching". I doubt anyone noticed but I know that Joyce would have.

Beautiful card and I love your idea using Tania baking on a sympathy card to remember your friends skills. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss!
Thanks for entering our DT call.

Hugs,
Iris

Tammy so sorry to hear about your friend's passing. Your card creation is so beautiful. I love the wording that replaced the stitching.
