So finally!

An update on my scrap week. I did really good until Sunday and just sort was tired. On Monday I had a fever and wasn't feel good at all. Lupus had reared her ugly head and had me moving pretty slow all week.
102 cards completed
6 bookmarks
8 cards partially complete
Here is the pile!
I did work slowly on cleaning the ArtHaven all week.
I've finally got it looking good. Just a few stickers to file.
This week I will probably start making a new mess.
That's the fun right?

The cards I'm sharing today all have stamps from the Greeting Farm. Remember everything was from my scaps and my "Stamp File".
Definition of "Stamp File" - I like to stamp a bunch of stamps and then sit and color them in the evening. Then I cut them out and put them in my "Stamp File" to use. However the pile had gotten way out of control. LOL

A couple of the cards from today!

Remember these are all from my scrap pile. The picture of Jesus is from a card I got. I believe that the Purple and Green cards are from Wanda's Crafts. And the middle card is a Penny Duncan Cut. I think the stamp below is Magenta.
You really can't see that some of the birds are popped up. Oh well.
The last card I used the Very Vintage Stampin Up wheel done in Versamark and dusted with gold perfect pearl dust. I also swiped the Versamark across the embossed brown and did the same.

New Job

So a friend who has been without work for quite a while just got a new job this week. This is the card that I made him. I don't know what the stamp company is but isn't he great!
The inside of the card goes:

Heard you are losing
full recliner privileges.
Congrats on the new Job!

Anyway the funny thing is when I gave it to him at Gear Up, he saw the guy in the recliner and said, "Man I'm gonna miss my chair."

I thought it was hilarious!

I sorted through my scraps from the last 4 months today. Here are my piles! Good grief. So I'm challenging myself to use these scraps up in the next week! Yes I said week. I used some up yesterday and made 21 cards. Check back in a week and see what I've made!

Thursday Night - 5 cards on Wednesday and 27 today so far.
I'm working on it Mother!

Valentine's for the Nephews

This card is all Create Critter.

The card uses Create A Critter and the wonderful Monster from SVG CUTS. I used hearts instead of the lava clumps!

This is also Create A Critter, but the sentiment on the inside is from Lyrical Letters.

Happy Valentine's Day

Both of these cut files our My Scrap Chick. The Be Mine is pretty straight up simple but I jazzed it up a bit with some Crystal Effects.

Hugs and Kisses was embellished with a heart embossing folder.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. DH & I took lunch to a dear friend who is the Bounce Back wing with a broken hip and arm. We had a lovely time with her.

A Little Sesame Street

These fun guys are from my Sesame Street Font Cart. Which if you don't have is an awesome font cart to have plus you get a bunch of fun pictures to boot! The border is a Stampin' Up punch. It's not mine but a friend's so I don't know which one it is. The Dots are also a background stamp from Stampin' Up.

Variety of Cards

I pulled out one of my House Mouse Stamps for this card. They are so much fun and just bring a smile to you face. Which I hope was the case for this card. It went to a friend who is having a lot of headaches at work.
This is the front of the card for one of my sister-in-laws. The owl is a free file from SVG Cuts. I'm not normally an owl person, but really liked him. The font is from Nursery Rhymes Cart.
I used my wind stamp from the Stardust Stampin' Up set. It's a really great set that I use all the time. I embossing it with Ranger's Pearl Blue.

This is the other card I made for my friend Deb. I used the Imagine, Country Life, Nursery Tails and Pooh & Friends for this card.

No Art Yesterday

Because I had to help DH shovel out our drive. Normally we love our big drive, but not so much yesterday. Whew. But today hopefully I'll get some done. Depends on whether or not I can get to the church to work on bulletins or not. It's cold today. Still -5 at 7:30 a.m. So I'm glad the shoveling is done.
