Gift Bag for Baby Announcements!

Here is the Gift Bag that I decorated for the Baby Announcements Shower Gift. The cute Lion, Zebra and Giraffe are from My Scrap Chick. They are to make boxes, but I just used them a little different. The leaves are from Create a Critter Cart. I love how it came out.

I hope you all have a great weekend. We have a Birthday Party/Graduation tomorrow. I hope it is a nice day! I've got cupcakes in the oven for Jr. Church. Then I'm headed to bed. I didn't go to bed last night and I'm getting a little tired.

Kindergarten Graduation & Stress!!!

So Saturday we are celebrating my nephew's Kindergarten Graduation. Just a little something while the family is together for a birthday party. This is the card I made him. I used School Bears from My Scrap Chick. Pooh Font and Locker Talk cartridges to boot. The base is from Penny Duncan and left over from my daughter's HS Graduation invites last year. The mortar cap is from SVG Cuts.

While working on the card my laptop just all of a sudden shut down. AHHHHH! I got it back up and it immediately shut down again. Third time wouldn't even come up. I left it alone for a while and did a system repair which decided it needed a system restore. At first I though it was from the Microsoft update yesterday, but I think now it was a Picasa update. Anyhoo, I'm not liking Thursday so much as the last two haven't been much fun!!! I'm rerunning virus scans (which was running 1st time around) and hoping for the best.
I'm hoping you all are having a much better Thursday.

Ninja Bear

My Son is finishing up his semester of college with a bazillion papers. At least that's what is sounded like when he rattled them off on Saturday night. So this too cute bear is from SVG Cuts Johnathon Bear Set. Although my son is a Taekwondo guy, I thought the whole ninja thing would be a fun card for him.

The inside words I found on the interest when I Google Ninja sayings. The Finish Strong is Mom wisdom. :) Hopefully he will get it tomorrow. His dear wife will find something special for her tucked inside his card.

Baby Card

This is one a 2 dozen Baby Announcement cards I have made for a Baby Shower. I have mats pasted inside the card to mount a picture and the baby's info onto. I used a sweet stamp from Belles N Whistles. I used Plantain Schoolbook, Storybook and Martha Stewart's Elegant Cakes for the Scallops,circles and Rectangle box. I ran them through the Textured Boutique and sponged the ink onto them. The stamp is from Stampin' Up's set called You're a Gem. I'm tickled with how they have come out.

Scrapbook Retreat!

It finally came, I finally went! It was a blast!! The last 5 years I've gone up to Pine Trail camp with a group of wonderful ladies for a Scrapbook retreat. This was the first year I didn't have a deadline and good just have fun and go with the flow. Isn't our space so awesome. The gals from my area had our stuff in a huge trailer! Look at all the wonderful supplies.

I did 49 pages! Yeah me, but my friend Hollie, whooped me by doing 71 pages and finishing her cruise from start to end.

Here is our group pictures. We sure did miss a couple of the St. Joe gals and we so missed our own Miss Debbie. Thank You to our fearless leaders, Barb & Lauri for such a great time!
