18th Birthday Cards

So I worked on Birthday cards today at club. The first card of my daughter's friend Dane. He is one of my kids and has spent almost as much time at my house as my kids. I used the digital stamp set from The Greeting Farm. I cut the 18's from the Cuttin' Up cart. I used my new Cuttlebug folder of Circles and Bubbles and the argyle folder my friend got the same day.

The 2nd card is for my Daughter's boyfriend. His birthday is Saturday & their "1st" anniversary is tomorrow. I used a Stampin Up set. Sorry I don't know the name. I stamped and colored these like 8 months ago. All the other bits are leftovers. I used a border Cuttlebug folder in 2 places.

Gonna jump in the shower and head to bed. Road the bike 4 miles at the canal tonight since DD & I slept through the alarms this morning. Gonna get up and do it again in the morning.

A bit of Retro

Here is a bit of retro from October 2008. It was an renewal of vows card. I haven't been paper crafting this week, but doing some cross stitch. I haven't cross stitched for years. I'm really enjoying it. Next week I have a whole bunch of sewing to get done.

Cousins

Here is one of the 2 matching Cousins word books I made for my daughter and my niece for graduation. They are 8 months apart and best of buds.

Wedding Card

This is the card I made for my son and my new daughter-in-law. The outisde is a file from Monica's Gate Card 5 I believe and the inside is from Heather M's blog. I used 3 kinds of Stickles, Diamon, Icicle and Silver. The stamp is from Michael's $1 bin. I love how it came out. It was beautiful. I'm itching to see some of the pictures from the wedding.

Father's Day Card for Father in law

Here is the card I made for DH's Dad. He just spent 3 1/2 weeks on the road between his three boys. Started off at our house for DD's graduation and then went to #3 sons for a week and then to #2 sons for a week and back here for a week and DS's wedding. I bet he was so glad to sleep in his own bed. The bowling file is from Annel. The font is Lyical Letters.

Birthday Card for Cousin

Here is the birthday card I made for one of my cousins. His birthday is tomorrow and he would give me all kinds of grief if I didn't have a card ready for him at the wedding. Yes he is very ornery. Anyway I love how it came out. I used Print Shop for the words and newspaper guy. Calvin is from Mardenz.

Napkin Rings

I started on the napkins rings this morning. I just finished them a little before 9 p.m. It seemed to take forever. However I also did all of my laundry, my son's, Adams and Grandpa's. The last load is in the washer. It was a beautiful day so I've had the windows open. It kinda hot tonight now the breeze has disappeared. Just not ready to turn on the air. Yesterday my dear friend Hollie made my Calla Lillys and I got the Clematis flowers made for the centerpieces on the tables.

Tomorrow I'm gonna set up the room for the reheasal dinner so hopefully I can relax as more of the out of town company starts pouring into town.

The napkins rings are left over paper from the boxes I made for the reception and the wedding invitations. I used Tie the Knot cartridge. The top is cut from Korean mulberry paper. I made 70 of them. The bands are 1 x 4 dark purple card stock with 3/4 inch by 4 mulberry paper.

Yeah! Happy Dance! I found purple tableclothes last night. They only had 6 of the round ones at Hobby Lobby, but yeah again my daughter in law in 3 days found 2 more at a different Hobby Lobby today.

More Wedding Stuff

So I've been sitting in my chair being good and finished weeding the the Name Plates for the Rehearsal Dinner. I used Wanda's daisy eyelet card, but I took of the eyelet holes. They wouldn't cut on the mulberry paper. I used my new CriKit pens to write the names. The font I used was Disciple. I made I think 64 of them.

Wedding Favors

My Son's wedding is this Saturday. I have been working feverishly on stuff for the Reception and Rehearsal Dinner. Here is what I have done so far. The first picture is of a box to put advice into at the reception. The box SVG came from My Scrap Chick. The next pictures are the favors for the rehearsal dinner. The cuts are from Denise's Scrapbooking. They are filled with Bliss chocolates and Lifesaver mints. I've almost got the place cards done. I've been slowed done a bit by a tore leg muscle. Really bad timing for it.

Little Colts Fan and Birthdays

This first card is made for some dear friends who just welcome baby #3 into their family. They live in Indiana and are Colts fans. The stamp is a digital one from Elizabeth Bell. Isn't he adorable?
This is just a super simple and sweet birthday card using a Belles n Whistles Stamp.

This is a card using another Elizabeth Bell digital. The last card is also using this stamp and is for my DD's 18th birthday!

No Pop! ;)

A big No- No on the XC team is drinking pop during the season. Especially Mountian Dew! Of course it never gets drank. (Wink, Wink, Nudge, Nudge). However, it always shows in their times when they do. The letters are Mickey Mouse Cart and the Eyes are from Wild Card.

So today at Hollie's House of Hug I worked on 2 presents. One for my daughter and one for my niece. I'm almost done and getting ready to work on them again. Hopefully I'll also get DD's XC scrapbook finished today too. Picked up pictures from Walgreens. Tomorrow I need to work on Graduation Party. Did I mention DD is #3 in her class. Woot!

Happy Birthday Eileen!

Miss Eileen is 6 years old today. Seems just like yesterday her Grandma was handing me a brand new wee babe. Had to make a really special card this special girl. (It's so easy to spoil the Myong girls!) I used Belle's n Whistle stamp, Cupcake. The flower is from SVG Cuts 3D Flowers II, windflower. The paper is Stampin' Up.

Today is not only Eileen's special day, but also a big Happy 17th to my nephew Craig way down in Southern Indiana. And Welcome to the world Mr. Josiah William born today to our dear friends, Steve & Ann.

A Little Scrappin'

I actually got a few scrapbook pages done this weekend. It felt so good. I think I got aobut 8 or 9 pages done this week. The house is put back together after dealing with the mold. Yeah. The 2 pages I'm showing you are from the Spring Musical at the HS. In the first page I made my own SVG's.The Stage border is a SCUT file and can be downloaded here. It is for SCAL 2 and is a very rough cut. Needs a little tweaking. Sorry I don't have the time to tweak it. The Bye Bye Birdie SVG is here. The 2nd page I used Sunny Day font from the Sesame Street Cart and the Retro Phone is From the Kitchen.
Hope you are having a great Sunday.

Sympathy Card

This is a sympathy card a made for one the dearests families I know. My dear friend, Joyce, passed away last month. She leaves a huge hole in our lives. I used Tania Baking stamp from Belles 'n Whistles. Joyce was an amazing cook, baker, quilter, sewer, musician, etc. One of her many ministries was the treats on Wednesday night for youth. The Pre-school children called her Cookie Joyce Grandma. I cut squars for the background and pasted them on to look like a quilt. On the Yellow squares I quilted memories of Joyce for the "stitching". I doubt anyone noticed but I know that Joyce would have.
